Laura Wolfenbarger

LAURA WOLFENBARGER

Broker, Smithsonian Properties + Smithsonian Real Estate

Before joining Perry Smith Development and its related entities as Chief Operating Officer, Laura’s professional background was the COO of a medical group of over 200 physicians with 42 office locations in eight counties and administrated a multi-million-dollar annual budget. As Principal Broker, she brings to the real estate market that same intuitive ability to ascertain and analyze needs, to forecast goals, to streamline operations and to conceptualize new strategies for the overall operation of Smithsonian Properties and Smithsonian Real Estate. Two of her greatest strengths are the executive oversight of finances, plus facility renovations and/or relocations and expansions.

Maqueeta Williams

MAQUEETA WILLIAMS

Regional Property Manager

Mequeeta oversees the multi-family leasing division for Smithsonian Properties. Working in the multi-family industry for over 28 years, Mequeeta has gained experience in conventional, new development, and student living. Her goals include ensuring the profitability, good reputation, building upkeep, and tenant occupancy of Smithsonian Properties’ investment assets. She directs employee performance through mentorship, development, and ongoing motivation.


Mequeeta Williams has an Associate Degree in Business Administration studies at Cooper Institute of Business. When Mequeeta is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and listening to live music.

Blaid Smith

BLAID SMITH

Assistant Property Manager

As the eldest son to the Developer/Owner of Smithsonian Properties, Blaid started working in the family’s companies in 2014. At the young age of 9, Blaid’s first job was in the family entertainment division where he worked from “ground up” into the role of a Park Manager. Blaid has now transitioned into the property management sector. He assists with tenant applicants and the launching of new apartment complexes. Blaid will eventually move into the real estate and land development arms of the company.


In Blaid’s free time he enjoys boating and off-roading with friends and family.

Coleson Smith

COLESON SMITH

Assistant Property Manager

As the second son to the Developer/Owner of Smithsonian Properties, Coleson Smith is the namesake of Coleson Creek Apartments. Coleson is currently being trained in property management. He is responsible for customer service and guest relations at Coleson Creek and River Valley Apartments. In a typical day, Coleson communicates with prospective tenants, processes work orders to the maintenance department, is responsible for supply procurement and handles daily banking deposits, along with other miscellaneous administrative tasks.

Coleson assists in ensuring residents’ satisfaction.


When Coleson is not in the office, he enjoys searching for rare collectables, gaming and is an avid movie buff.
